Make The Right Skincare Choices

Make The Right Skincare Choices

Ageing well is about finding time to respect your largest organ – your skin by Susan Gianevsky

I have always loved taking care of my skin and I still make sure that my skin is well nourished as it needs care just as any other organ within our body.   Skin says so much about the life we lead.  Keeping your skin nourished and well oiled means it will be subtle, free of lines and glowing daily giving you the upbeat that comes with beautiful skin.  Remember enjoying beautiful skin begins from within as much as from the outer selecting an organic skincare regime to add to the daily glow.

Before I started using organic skincare I would’ve said no difference…but there is a big difference as my skin today looks as bright as it did 10 or more years ago.

So how do we get our brightness and tautness back to skin that lacks lustre.

It’s easier than you think …

  1. Take minerals that activate cellular balance
  2. Find a good marine collagen powder with added Silica and prebiotics
  3. Buy an organic skincare range that delivers moisture, brightness and nourishment that your skin needs.

I have kept a skincare routine over the years and have now added more products that include Vit C, hyaluronic acid, camellia, sunflower and avocado oils too…my skin is brighter than before and it continues to glow.

Here are my tips:

  1. Never, ever go to bed with makeup on.No matter how exhausted you are or how late it is:
  2. Drink plenty of water morning to night.
  3. Add an antioxidant serum to your daily routine that includes Sodium Hyaluronate and Vit C
  4. Use an oil cleanser rich in sunflower & camellia oils at night and a gel cleanser in the morning
  5. Find a nourishing face cream that is rich in Vit C
  6. Always sleep on a clean pillowcase. Did you know your skin can pick up dirt and bacteria, traces of makeup, dead skin cells, saliva, and hair product residue from a pillowcase that hasn't been washed.
  7. Make a commitment to exercise -An exercise routine or  a workout increases circulation, creating that great glow once it's done. Another plus: Working up a sweat can help lower the stress hormone cortisol, which is linked not only to skin aging but breakouts and clogged pores.
  8. Don't binge on junk food as you will block the health of your skin as you are what you eat!
  9. Gently exfoliate. Depending on your skin type, use a gentle hydrating mask that includes fruit enzymes, glycolic acid and sodium hyaluronate  to support  to remove dead skin for a glowy, glass-like finish. Exfoliating one or two days a week is enough.
  10. Clean your phone daily. And don't press it directly against your skin when talking either. Did you know your phone is a breeding ground for germs?

I am interested in the courses you have to offer, and the skincare,
I do use the salts but need more advice on these.
