Happy Valentine’s Day by Susan Gianevsky
It’s time to fall in love with your own heart before you start loving someone else’s heart. When was the last time you thought about your heart – your heart has such a vital role in your health and yet we take it for granted most days. This is why I am inviting you to embrace your heart and start feeding it with nutrition that it needs to give you the energy to enjoy all that you are doing with your loved one/s.
Your heart is a pump, usually beating about 60 to 100 times per minute. With each heartbeat, the heart sends blood throughout our bodies. , carrying oxygen to every cell. After delivering the oxygen, the blood returns to the heart. Your organs depend on the supply of oxygen from your heart and other nutrients to the brain. You see every part of yourself is connected to the health of your heart.
This Valentine’s Day the best gift you can give yourself is to:
- Eat healthy food that isn’t processed
- Get active – start walking at least 5000 steps a day
- Stay at a healthy weight
- Control your cholesterol and blood pressure.
- Drink alcohol only in moderation.
- Manage stress
- Be selective about the supplements you take
- Respect every organ in your body including your tissues and cells
- Commit to stepping in your best health by making healthier choices
What I love are supplements that are easily absorbed by the body making sure they are delivered to where they need to be effectively and rapidly. I see so many clients now who swallow a bag of supplements but say they tell me that they don’t feel any better. This means that the supplements are not delivering the freedom your body needs.
Heart health depends on nutrition that nourishes your cells, your blood, your tissues and provides the antioxidants needed to protect you from the viral loading that is now part of our new world.
Love yourself, love your heart and fall in love again.
